    How does an Impact Crusher Works?

    An impact crusher breaks material using high-speed impact forces rather than compression.

    Inside the crusher, a rotor spins at high speed with blow bars that strike incoming material and throw it against fixed impact plates (aprons) in the crushing chamber. These repeated collisions cause the material to fracture into smaller pieces.

    The material continues to reduce in size as it moves through the chamber until it reaches the required size and exits the crusher. The final product size can be adjusted by changing the position of the impact plates.

    Impact crushers are widely used in recycling, quarrying, and aggregate production because they produce well-shaped, consistent material, and are especially effective for softer to medium-hard materials and construction and demolition waste.
