A scalping screen separates material such as rock, soil, or demolition waste into different sizes using aggressive vibration on one or more screen decks.

Material is fed onto the vibrating decks, where smaller particles pass through the openings while larger material continues across as oversize.

This improves efficiency, reduces crusher load, and ensures cleaner, correctly sized feed.
